One of the goals from the VOHC economic development programs (TIF-BDD) is to use funds to make general infrastructure improvements in town that benefit everyone.
One of the areas identified by residents and the Community & Economic Development Council is improved lighting - beginning with 116. This week Ameren will be installing additional lights along the 116 corridor. Please be mindful of the workers.
This is just phase one of the lighting project/s. We will continue to evaluate and address the need for additional lighting along 116 and throughout the Village as funding becomes available.

We are pleased to announce that resident Chris Johnson will be joining the Village Board as its newest trustee! Chris will be replacing Jeff Chiravalle who has moved out of the Village. We are sad to lose Jeff, but are excited to see what Chris can bring to the position!
